So here we are with the first match up of the first round.  You can see the tail of the tape above.

This should be an interesting matchup.  We have one of the baddest men on the planet with Fedor Emelianenko taking on Homer Simpson.  Let’s do some keys to this fight here.

Fedor is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time.  He is practiced in almost any situation whether it be on the feet or the ground.  And don’t let his calm, and sometimes playful, demeanor outside of fighting fool you.  The man is an absolute beast once the bell rings.  He is going to want to take this fight to the ground early using his superior sambo skills.  Then he is going to need to try to grab hold of one of Homer’s meaty limbs and just crank.  I don’t think standing and banging with Homer will do any good.

Homer is a proven fighter in the boxing ring with a jaw and seemingly gut of steel.  He is known for just taking the punishment his opponents dish out and gassing them to where they can’t go anymore.  It’s then easy pickings for Homer.  He is going to probably want to keep this on the feet and just weather the storm until Fedor is gassed.  But we have never seen Fedor get gassed.  Is it possible?
